These smooth tubes, with a 7 degree bend, are what are found on the GTS-R and ACR models. Smooth tube intake hoses amplify the engine's intake sound, reduce heat soak, quicken throttle response and increase power. Independent testing by MotoIQ found peak power gains of 14 wheel horsepower and 12 wheel torque with smooth tube intakes and drop-in K&N air filters.
