Metal Flake Application: Apply Custom Paints Inc Metal Flake over any base color to produce a real custom effect. We recommend adding the Metal Flake to our Flake Carrier but you can add them to a Automotive solvent or water based 1k or 2k Clearcoat, Clear base coats and Clear Varnish. Depending on how heavy you want the flake effect, will depend on how much you will need. Start by prepping your project as you would any other paint job. (Sand, Prime, etc.) Apply 2-3 coats of Base coat. Add the Metal Flake to a Clear base coat or lacquer and stir well. Apply the Metal Flake until you get the effect you desire.
