There is about 1.75 inches of thread for adjustment and the OD of the threaded sleeve is about 0.742 inch. The sleeve welds on to the shifter shaft. The combination of this adjuster with a late style shifter coupler allows exact adjustment of your shifter even if it is not perfectly level with the transaxle.
