Ford completely redesigned the XL for 1969 on an all-new platform with a longer 121-inch wheelbase, and the SportsRoof body style brought a distinctive tunnel-back roofline with flying buttress sail panels that gave the car a profile unlike anything else in the Ford lineup. The XL was only available in two body styles that year, the SportsRoof and a convertible, making both configurations genuinely rare. Ford's own advertising called it the sportiest, best-handling Ford XL in history.

It has an LS1 engine that was bought new in 2012 and ordered from Street Performance. It has an Aluminum Radiator with an Electric Fan. It has headers with dual exhaust but it is not loud. Under the hood looks very impressive. The transmission is a 4L60E that shifts out like it should. The Black paint is slick and no rust anywhere. The top is in great shape. It has beautiful tan leather interior that looks awesome. It has new gauges that work and also has Vintage A/C and heat that works great. The trunk was also done to match interior. It has a Fat Man frontend with Rack Pinion Steering and power disc brakes. The rear is a Curry 9 Ford with 3;80 gears.
